For more than five decades, m.f.elliott has developed an evolving practice in painting and mixed media, drawing on fragments of imagery, cultural pattern, memory and experience.
Recognizable images and unfamiliar forms meet within the work. Pattern, symbolism and material become points of entry, inviting recognition while resisting a single interpretation.
